Deep cleaning

A closer look, with a clear boundary.

The four familiar zones stay the same. The difference is the detail within them: reachable skirting, fittings, tile surfaces and kitchen edges are set out in the brief.

The agreed task list depends on access, the condition of the surfaces and suitable cleaning methods.

What is included

Kitchen

  • Clean accessible worktops, the hob surface, sink and cupboard fronts.
  • Give reachable edges and fittings closer attention.

Bathroom

  • Clean accessible sanitary fittings, mirrors and tile surfaces.
  • Work on reachable edges and residue where the finish allows.

Living areas & bedrooms

  • Dust reachable surfaces and internal sills.
  • Clean accessible skirting boards, door details and switches.

Floors

  • Vacuum accessible floors and edges.
  • Use a suitable method on accessible hard-floor areas.

Agree separately

  • Inside ovens, fridges and cupboards.
  • Any specific task that needs a different product, tool or method.

What is not included

  • Restoring damaged finishes or guaranteeing stain removal.
  • Carpet extraction, upholstery cleaning and heavy-furniture moving.
  • Exterior windows, high-level work, mould and biological contamination.
  • Cleaning after building work and medical disinfection.

When it makes sense

  • Everyday cleaning is no longer enough for the reachable areas.
  • You want a more detailed task list for a lived-in home.
  • You want to identify built-up residue without assuming every mark can be removed.

Before the clean

  • Clear the areas that need attention.
  • Tell us which surfaces are delicate or have care instructions.
  • Identify appliance interiors or other tasks you want discussed separately.

Outside the scope

Detailed cleaning is not restoration.

The condition of the finish and suitable product instructions limit what can be done. Discolouration, scratches, damaged seals and permanent marks may remain. Mould and biological contamination are outside the scope.
